Grilled Honey Pineapple


1 fresh pineapple - into 1 inch boxes
1/4 teaspoon honey
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 dash hot pepper sauce
salt to taste


Put pineapple in a resealable plastic bag. Add honey, butter, hot pepper sauce and salt. Seal bag and shake it. Marinate for overnight or at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the outdoor grill for high heat.

Grill pineapple for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until heated through and grill marks appear.

Grilled pineapple is the very best!
I have never tried honey before sounds very good. I grill slices of pineapple all the time, but the only thing I have used is brown sugar. Best to you!
